MEANINGFUL & PRACTICAL
Establishing and keeping up-to-date a comprehensive estate plan (e.g. a Revocable Living Trust; Will; Power of Attorney; and Advance Health Care Directive) is extremely beneficial. A modest investment in a customized estate plan can save you and your loved ones considerable time, money and inconvenience.
All Trust stakeholders – settlors who establish the trust, trustees who manage the trust and beneficiaries who have beneficial interests – can benefit from professional consultation about the rules and requirements applicable to this important legal instrument. Hiring experienced legal counsel is nearly always necessary or appropriate to advise these stakeholders about how to protect themselves in the process of fulfilling their obligations and asserting their rights. Investing in real estate can be rewarding, yet challenging. In many circumstances, legal advice is often helpful, and sometimes essential, these circumstances including: making titling decisions; structuring, drafting and negotiating purchase/sale agreements, lease agreements and joint ownership agreements; and documenting loans secured by real estate.
Smart business owners are mindful about operating effectively while eliminating undue risk. In doing so, they should obtain legal counsel for issues including, but not limited to: forming business entities (e.g. LLCs and Corporations); managing employees; entering into appropriate contracts; and negotiating and documenting company acquisitions and sales.

Silverman Law Group, we not only take pride in providing meaningful and practical services to our clients, but also strive to be responsible advocates, communicate thoughtfully and compassionately, and engage ethically at all times.
Robert (“Rob”) Silverman, in his 23rd year of practice, focuses primarily on trusts and estates work. This consists of estate planning, probate, trust administration, and related matters. His emphasis is on developing a custom-designed estate plan for each client. He does so by learning about his client’s most important objectives; guiding the client’s decisions to reflect his or her needs and desires; and drafting essential documents in a manner that will enable the efficient implementation of the plan. Typically, at the core of such planning is maximizing wealth preservation and enhancement, and minimizing, if not eliminating, reasonably avoidable taxes and estate administration costs.
Mr. Silverman also provides service to clients in connection with myriad real estate and business transactions. These include negotiating and/or drafting real estate purchase/sale agreements; preparing real estate co-ownership (aka equity share, joint ownership, or “T.I.C.”) agreements; helping to form business entities, such as LLCs and corporations, for various real estate and business enterprises; and advising and assisting with a broad variety of other kinds of real estate and business contracts, issues and disputes. Mr. Silverman’s invaluable real estate and business background enables him to deliver practical, efficient advice and service to his clients.
